Defining a Manual Start Trigger
To configure a manual start trigger for the beginning of measure data recording:
In the context menu, select the Open recorder configuration command or double-click on the desired recorder.
The dialog box Recorder Configuration opens.
- Select the Triggers tab.
- In the Start Trigger field, select the MANUAL value.
- If you want a repeatable trigger, specify the maximum number of repetitions in the Repetitions field.
To save complete measured value recordings in separate files before each repetition, enable the Store repeats in separate files check box.
- In the Pre Start Trigger Time field, set the pretrigger time.
Define the end of recording:
In the Duration field, enter the recording duration after the start trigger event.
or
In the Stop Trigger field, select the trigger condition to be used to stop the recording.
With a defined stop trigger, you can additionally set a post stop trigger time, which extends the recording after the stop trigger event.
Click OK.
The manual start trigger is configured.
To start a recorder with manual start trigger from within the experiment environment, press the key F5 during the running measurement.
