Configuring Recorder Events
To adapt the recorder events view, the following configurations are available.
To configure the view:
- Right-click on the header of the events list.
Select the elements to be displayed in the events list.
You can choose from the following elements:
Event
This column displays the event type. You can choose from the following event types:
- Recorder started
- Recorder ended
- Recorder saved
- Variable removed
Time
This column displays the time at which the event occurred.
Recorder name
This column shows the name of the recorder.
File
This column shows the name of the file in which the measurement results are stored.
Note
This information is available only for the event type Recorder saved.
Path
This column displays the path under which the measurement file has been saved.

This information is available only for the event type Recorder saved.
To configure visual alerts:
In the Recorder Events window, click on the
symbol.The Recorder Event Viewer Preferences window is opened.
- In the Event Type field select the event type for which you want to configure the alerts.
- Activate the option Show Visual Notification.
- Select the background color of the alarm window under Alert Color.
- Click OK.

To configure audio alerts:
In the Recorder Events window, click on the
symbol.The Recorder Event Viewer Preferences window opens.
- In the Event Type field select the event type for which you want to configure the alerts.
- Activate the option Play Sound Notification.
Select the alarm tone you prefer from six different default sounds (Alarm1 - Alarm6).
or
- Activate the option Use Custom Sound.
Click on Browse.
A file selection dialog box opens.
- Select the soundfile you prefer on your file system.
- Click Open.
- Click OK.

You can listen to the settings you have selected using the Preview function. The soundfile must be in *.wav format. You can also assign acoustic signals via the Windows Control Panel under Sounds and Audio Devices. For further information see the INCA Getting Started manual. |
