Adding a Cursor in a YT or XY Oscilloscope

With the help of cursors, measurements, differences between measurements, or differences between times can be determined from the graphic signal curves in a YT or XY oscilloscope.

To add a cursor to a YT or XY oscilloscope:

In the oscilloscope toolbar, click on the Cursor icon.
Select the Add Cursor setting.
A cursor will appear centered in the oscilloscope display area. In addition, a column for the cursor measurement will appear in the signal list and, if necessary, for the difference between different cursors.
To avoid shrinking the visible graphic area, the signal list width does not automatically increase.
Move the cursor to the desired position with a pressed mouse button.

In the context menu of the signal list header you can select the Cursor Tooltips context menu to set for which measure variables the associated measured value should be displayed directly next to the cursor.
