YT and XY Oscilloscope Context Menu

The YT and XY oscilloscope context menu contains context-based functions and setting options. Depending on the window area from which the context menu is opened, these are selectable or grayed out.

Zoom to fit

Adjusts the presented values to the display area.

Dynamic axis adaptation

Automatically adjusts an axis to the value pattern if it exceeds the scale.

Remove Axis

Removes an axis.

Individual Axes for Selected Variables

Assigns an individual axis to each selected measure variable.

Common Axis for Selected Variables

Joins the selected measure variable in a shared axis. The shared axis is named after the first selected measure variable. Surplus axes are removed from the display.

Add Empty Strip

Adds an empty strip to the analog or digital display area.

Remove Strip

Removes the selected strip and all measure variables contained therein from the display.

Individual Strips for Selected Variables

Assigns an individual strip to each selected measure variable.

New Strip for Selected Variables

Moves the selected measure variables to a new strip.

Common Strip for Selected Variables

Joins the selected measure variables in a single strip. Surplus strips are removed.

Shift into Analog/Digital Area

Moves the selected measure variables to the other display areas. In an analog display area, the measure variables receive a new shared strip. In a digital display area, each measure variable receives an individual strip.

Optimize Window Size

Optimizes the size of the oscilloscope window.

Add Variable

Opens the variable selection.

Remove Variables

Removes one or more selected measure variables.

Copy variable to window

Copies one or more selected measure variables into another window. Opens a dialog box for selecting the measure window.

Move variable to window

Moves one or more selected measure variables into another measure window. Opens a dialog box for selecting the measure window.

About variable

Opens a dialog box with measure variable details.

Variable Documentation

Opens a dialog box with shaded information on a measure variable.

Properties

Opens the display settings for the oscilloscope in the Variable Selection window.
