Displaying Data as Overlaid Set of Maps

You can make these settings only if maps are displayed as a group of curves (2D display) in the Combined Editor.

To display data as overlaid maps:

  1. In the context menu, select Properties.

    The dialog box Properties: Combined Editor opens.

  2. Select the Overlaytab.
  3. Select the Maps Only setting in the Overlay Mode line.
  4. Click OK.

  5. In the context menu, select the Overlay selection menu function.

    The Overlay selectiondialog window opens. All maps in the Combined Editor are listed.

  6. The dialog provides one column for all y values defined in the maps. By selecting either Yes or No, you can select whether the curve for that y-value shall be displayed or hidden in the overlay view.

  7. Click OK.

    The overlaid curves are shown in different colors. Each color can be changed in the Overlay selection dialog window. Double-click a variable name to open the color palette.
