Bar Chart Instruments

Bar chart instruments are used for graphical display of measure variables and for statistical analysis, such as the cell voltages of an electric vehicle battery system. The INCA bar chart instruments offer different perspectives on specific data.

You can customize the charts to specific physical quantities, such as voltages, temperatures, and pressures, using the settings in the instrument properties.

You can use the bar chart instruments to do the following:

• Get a graphical overview of all values of an individual variable. The overview can be based on the absolute variable values (Absolute Value Bar Chart) or the deviations from the mean (Delta Bar Chart).

• Get a sortable tabular overview (Sortable List) that you can easily identify the variable values with the highest or lowest values or deviations.

• Get a classification of the variable into groups with comparable variable values (Signal Distribution Chart).

All bar chart instruments always show values for a specific point in time.
