Customizing the Variable Name Display

In the Experiment Environment, you can set specific filters to display the variable names differently.

To customize the display of variable names

In the Variables menu, select Variable Name Display Setup.
The Variable Name Display Setup dialog box opens.
In the Hardware devices area, select the devices for those you want to change the variable name display.
Make the desired filter settings, see Variable Name Display Setup Dialog Box.
To copy filter settings to another device, select the device, right-click, and select Copy the Filter Settings. To paste the copied filter settings select Paste the Filter Settings.
To apply a device specific filter, activate the checkbox of a device.
If you active the checkbox Global, the selected filter settings apply to all devices.
Click OK.
The customized variable names are displayed, for example, in a measure window.
