Defining Display Type of Maps

To define the display type of maps in the Combined Editor:

  1. In the context menu, select Attributes.

    The dialog box Attributes: Combined Editor opens.

  2. Select the name of the variable tab.
  3. In the Display mode column, select a menu function:

    • Table to list the values and axis points of a map in a table.
    • 2D Graphic to represent a map as a group of curves in a 2-dimensional coordinate system.
    • 3D Graphic to represent a map or a multidimensional map as a three-dimensional object.

      You can make this setting only if a (multidimensional) map is displayed as an object (3D display) in the Combined Editor.

    • Table & 2D Graphic to represent a map as a group of curves and simultaneously list its values in a table.
    • Table & 3D Graphic to represent a map or a multidimensional map as a three-dimensional object and simultaneously list its values in a table.

      You can make this setting only if a (multidimensional) map is displayed as an object (3D display) in the Combined Editor.

    • Press Ctrl + t to toggle to the next display.
    • Press Ctrl + Alt + t to toggle to the previous display.
