Configure Output Channels Window
In this window, you can assign measure variables as input variables to the output channels of a connected device.
The window contains the following fields and buttons:
Output Devices
Selects the device which is to be used for the transmission of output signals.
Channels
Lists the channels of the selected output device and their type. If a measure variable is assigned to the channel, it also displays information on the measure variable.
No. | Displays the no. or name of the measurement channel. |
Output Channel Type | Shows whether the channel is digital or analog. |
Source Data | Shows the name of the assigned measure variable. |
Source | Displays the device providing the assigned measure variable. |
Rate | Displays the raster in which the assigned measure variable is measured. |
Output Routing | Determines along which path the output signal is transferred (hardware internal or via PC) |
Min/Max | Displays the minimum and maximum value of the assigned measure variable. |
Phys bottom | Displays the lower physical value of the assigned measure variable (corresponds to the value at 0 Volt). |
Phys top | Displays the upper physical value of the assigned measure variable (corresponds to the value when output voltage is at its maximum). |
Assign
You can make this assignment only if your experiment contains an input device which is compatible with the selected output device.
Opens the Select Variables window where you can select a measurement variable to assign it to the output channel.
If it is set under Output Routing, that the output signal will be transferred via PC, you may also select calculated variables as assigned measure variables.
Remove
Removes the assignment of the variable to the selected output channel.
OK
Closes the dialog box. Changes to output channels are accepted.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box. Changes to output channels are discarded.
