Reading adapt. data from File

If you want to read application data from external data exchange files, you have the following options:

Read all application data out of one of more files
  1. In the Dataset menu, select the Variables submenu and then the menu function Read all calibrations from file.

    A file selection dialog box opens.

  2. Select one or more files from which you want to read the application data.

    Note

    The multiple selection enables you to read application data from multiple files.

  3. Click Open.

    The application data is imported and checked for plausibility.

Read application data for individual variables from one of more files
  1. In the Dataset menu, select the Variables submenu and then the menu function Read calibration from file.

    A file selection dialog box opens.

  2. Select one or more files from which you want to read the application data.

    Note

    The multiple selection enables you to read application data from multiple files.

  3. Click Open.

    The Variable Selection dialog box opens.

  4. Select from the list of variables the variables whose values you want to read.

    All selected variables are marked with the symbol .

  5. Click OK.

    The application data is imported and checked for plausibility.

Note

During the variable reading process plausibility tests are carried out. The results of the plausibility check are saved to a result file (.lab). If errors are detected, you will be asked whether the operation should be continued anyway. In this case only those variables are read that have not caused any errors. If the operation is canceled, no variables are read.
