Adaptive Characteristics

Adaptive characteristics are variables that can be changed by the control device. They are used for implementing self-optimizing algorithms in the control device.

Adaptive characteristics are not saved in datasets because they can be changed at any time. Adaptive characteristics can therefore be edited in the experiment environment only if there is calibration access to the control device.

If you want to edit adaptive characteristics without calibration access to the control device, you have to save the adaptive characteristics values in a file. You can then edit the file using the Calibration Data Manager (CDM) and then reload the values from the file in the experiment environment.
