Specifying the E-Mail Address of the Hotline

Work processes and information on system errors are logged in *.log files. In case that a critical system error occurs, these files can be sent to the hotline service for further investigation.

To specify the e-mail address of your hotline service:

  1. In the Options menu, select Station options.

    The Station options dialog box opens.

  2. Specify the e-mail address of the hotline service under the corresponding entry.
  3. Click OK.

Your e-mail client is opened with the specified e-mail address being entered in the addressee field. Depending on the e-mail client used, the zipped log files may be automatically appended to the mail.
