User Options for Measurements: Monitoring Bounds Tab
To go to this tab, click the User Options
button and select the Experiment
tab. On the Experiment tab, double-click in the
Value field of the Measure
option, then select the Monitoring bounds tab.
Modified settings in this tab are applied immediately, even when a visualization or recording is running.
You can make the following settings:
Message when limit reached
Shows a message if the current value exceeds the soft limits of the measure value. This is displayed in numeric display, bar display, alert display, dialog display and bit display of the measure values.
Note
You can also assign acoustic signals being played when limits get exceeded. This can be configured in the Windows Control Panel under Sounds and Audio Devices. For further information see the INCA Getting Started manual.
Monitor long name
Shows the name of the measure value as it appears in the project description file (*.a2l) in brackets after the name of the measure value.
Monitor phys value
Shows the physical value of the measure values that have crossed the monitoring limits.
View always on top
Shows the message dialog box for limit excess; this box is always the uppermost window on your screen.
