Adjust Project Files Options Dialog Box

To open this dialog box, click the User Options button and select the Path tab. On the Path tab, double-click in the Value field of the Project Files option.

This dialog box contains the following fields and buttons:

Use same default path

Defines that the HEX file and the ECU documentation is always to be searched for in the same directory as the project description file (*.a2l).

Add project files automatically

Defines that if the specified folder contains exactly one ASAP2 file (*.a2l) and one hex file, they get added without further interaction whenever you want to add a project to the database.

Delete project files after add

Defines that the project files get physically deleted from the disk after they have been added to the database.

Project file path (ASAM-2MC)

Defines the default storage location for project description files.

HEX file path

Defines the default storage location for HEX files.

ECU Documentation Path

Defines the default storage location for ECU documentation.

The ... button next to the indicated paths opens a dialog window in which you can select a directory to read the project description file, read the HEX file, or create a new directory.

OK

The OK button closes the dialog box. Changes to the settings take effect.

Cancel

The Cancel button closes the dialog box without changing the settings.

Default

Resets the currently selected user option to the setting that is saved in the Userdef.ini file.
