Managing ECU Documentation

To add ECU documentation to the database:

1. Select a directory in the Database Objects list box.
2. On the Edit menu, select Add and then ECU Documentation.

3. Select the corresponding ECU documentation and confirm your input.

   The ECU documentation is created in the selected directory. It contains a link to the ECU documentation in the directory.

To open ECU documentation from the database:

• Double-click the ECU documentation in the Database Objects list box.

  The ECU documentation opens at the starting page.

To open ECU documentation for a specific project:

1. Select a project in the Database Objects list box.

2. Click in the ECU Documentation list box.

   The ECU documentation opens at the starting page.

In modules in which the variables can be selected individually (e.g. Experiment Environment), you can jump direct to the documentation of a specific variable.

To define different ECU documentation for the current project:

1. Select a project in the Database Objects list box.

2. Click in the ECU Documentation list box.

   The Select Documentation dialog box opens.

3. Select ECU documentation in the Database Objects list box.

4. Click OK.

   The ECU documentation is used for the current project.

To delete an INCA database:

1. In the Database menu, select Delete database.

   The Delete database dialog box opens.

2. Select the database you want to delete.

   The Delete database dialog box opens.

   If the database you want to delete is not listed, do the following:

   1. Select <select path>.

      The Select database path dialog box opens.

   2. Select the directory containing the database.

3. Click OK.

   The database is deleted.
