Adding an AUTOSAR System Template to the Database

To create a database object for an AUTOSAR system template:

1. Under Database Objects, select the folder in which you want to create the AUTOSAR description.

2. On the Edit menu, select Add and then AUTOSAR.

   A file selection dialog box opens.

3. Select a file.

4. Click Open.

   The file is read and a new database object is created in the selected folder. Under this new item, a separate entry is shown for each cluster included in the AUTOSAR system template.

INCA saves the original AUTOSAR system template in the database. However, CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, SOME/IP, and Ethernetbus descriptions will actually be used by INCA for the hardware configuration.
