Generating a CAN Message List from the CANalyzer Log File

To generate a CAN message list from a CANalyzer log file:

1. Under Database Objects, select the directory in which you want to generate the CAN message list.

2. In the Edit menu, point to Add, and then select Read CAN Message Log File.

   The Import CAN Message Log File dialog box opens.

3. Select the file from which you want to generate the CAN message list.

4. Click Open.

   If the CAN messages in the file were recorded by two or more ports, a dialog box opens in which you have to choose the subset you want to use, because INCA can only send from one port.

   A new CAN message list is read to the Database Objects list box and remains active for immediate renaming.
