Adjust Big Data Options Dialog Box

To open this dialog box, click the User Options button in the toolbar and select the Experiment tab. On the Experiment tab, double-click in the Value field of the Support for Big Data Recording option.

You can make the following settings for Big Data recording:

  • Enable big data support

    Determines whether selected files of the hardware used in the Experiment Environment and calibration events are written to the MDF file.

    Yes

    Enables the writing of selected files of the hardware and calibration events to the MDF file. Selected files are description files, reference page files, or working page files. You can enable the desired files and events via the fields Write Description File, Write Reference Page, Write Working Page, and Write Calibration Events.

    No

    Disables the writing of files to the MDF file.

  • Write description file

    Determines whether description files are written to the MDF file or not.

    Include in MDF (zipped)

    Writes the zipped description file of the used project to the MDF file.

    No

    Writes no description file of the used projects to the MDF file.

  • Write reference page

    Determines whether reference page files are written to the MDF file or not.

    Include in MDF (zipped)

    Writes the used reference page file as a zipped hex file to the MDF file.

    No

    Writes no reference page file as a hex file to the MDF file.

  • Write working page

    Determines whether working page files are written to the MDF file or not.

    Include in MDF (zipped)

    Writes the used working page file as a zipped hex file to the MDF file.

    No

    Writes no working page file as a hex file to the MDF file.

  • Write calibration events

    Determines whether calibration events are written to the MDF file or not.

    Yes

    Writes calibration changes to the MDF file.

    No

    Writes no calibration changes to the MDF file.

  • This dialog box contains the following buttons:

    Closes the dialog box and saves your settings.

    Sets the default value.
