Plausibility Checks for Copy Action
The plausibility checks are run in the order as listed below.
For the Copy action there are the following minimum plausibility checks:
Minimum checks | Target: | Target: |
Variable type different | Error | Error |
Default monotony of axis points violated | Error | Error |
Strict monotony of axis points violated | Warning | Warning |
Physical units different | Error if Force identical units (copy) is set in the settings for copying. Otherwise: Warning | No check |
Number of axis points larger than the maximum number specified in the project file | Error | No check |
Different number of axis points (axis types: FIX, STD, COM) Number of axis points is smaller than or equal to the maximum number of axis points of the destination The axis types CURVE and RES are not checked. | Copy set to Exact: Error: Copy set to Expand: No warning / No error. Copy set to Apply: No warning / No error | Error, if the Copy setting for curves and maps is set to Exact . Otherwise: No warning / No error |
Value to be copied violates hard limits for destination | Error | No check |
Value to be copied violates weak limits for destination | Warning | No check |
Physical values different | Variable is copied | Variable is copied |
For the Copy action there are the following advanced plausibility checks:
Advanced checks | Target: | Target: |
Conversion name different | Warning | No check |
Type and conversion formula parameter different | Warning | No check |
