CDM Settings: Function Tab
To go to this tab, click the Settings
toolbar button and select the Function tab.
You can make the following settings for function-oriented work with the Calibration Data Manager:
Generate output file
Defines how the comparison results are issued in function mode:
One output list for each function
Writes the comparison results to a separate output file for each function or group. The function or group name is part of the file name.
All variables in one single output listing
Writes all comparison results to a single output file.
When you select a function in the Select variables <Calibration variables> dialog box, this defines whether the variables contained in the function are automatically selected at the same time:
Defined and referenced calibrations
Selects all variables contained in a function.
Defined calibrations
Selects only the variables defined in a function.
no calibrations
Selects no variables.
Referenced calibrations
Selects only the variables used by the function.
Defines whether you work in function mode and how the subfunctions are handled when you select functions or Groups in the Select variables <Calibration variables> dialog box:
Flat function view
Transfers functions or groups and variables to the selection without hierarchical structures, i.e. the selected elements (functions and groups of different layers as well as variables) are listed flat underneath each other.
If one of the selected functions or groups directly contains variables, they will be displayed underneath them.
Include all subfunctions
Selects both the current function with its subfunctions and the variables it contains, according to your definition.
Confine to selected level
Selects only the current function and the variables it contains, according to your definition.
Do not use functions
Deactivates function mode.
Generate variable lists for function processing
Defines how variable files are generated in function mode:
One variable list for each function
Generates a separate variable file for each function containing only the variables contained in it.
No variable list
Generates no variable files.
Single variable list for all functions
Generates a variable file containing all variables and functions.
Copy only included children
Defines which variables of a function will be copied when a function is selected for a copy action.
Subfunctions are evaluated as defined in the option Group items by function.
Children (i.e. variables making up a function) are evaluated as defined in the option Select variables.Yes
CDM only copies those variables of the function that are defined or referenced in the target in the same function.
No
CDM copies all variables of a function, even this is defined or referenced in the target in different functions.
