Configuring the Representation of Variables View

In the Variables view you can adjust the following display items to your needs, to display filter functions and meta-information:

To adjust the toolbar to filter variables

  1. Right-click anywhere on the toolbar.

    A context menu in which you can activate/deactivate additional filter options opens.

  2. Select the additional filter to be viewed. You can, for example, carry out filtering according to the kind of variable ( measured variable, calibration variable, etc.), variable type (scalar, curve, map, etc.) or according to whether the variable is read/write-protected.

To adjust the header in the Variables pane

  1. Right-click anywhere on the header.
  2. Select the additional attributes to be displayed.

    For example, attributes such as name, display identifier, ECU address or element type can be displayed.

Note

Depending on the setting (see Setting for central actions), either the attribute Name or the attribute Name [Display-ID] is active and cannot be deactivated.
