Saving Filter Configurations

To apply a filter configuration in other environments, you can save the current filter configuration as XML file.

To save a filter configuration:

In the Variable Selection Dialog, set the desired filters.
Click .
The Variable Selection Preferences dialog box opens.
Activate Keep filter settings for the next VSD sessions.
Click Ok.

Click in the toolbar of the Variables tab.
The Save Filter Configuration dialog box opens.
Enter the directory path and the name of the XML file.
Click OK.
The filter configuration is added to the toolbar, saved and enabled.

Note
You can also make your filter configuration available to colleagues. Simply exchange the XML file you created when you saved the filter configuration.
