Options: Extended Measurement Settings (ASAM-MCD 3MC V1.0)
To go to this tab, click the Options
toolbar button, select the Measurement tab, and then click the Extended button.
You can make the following extended settings for the measurement:
Invalid Measurements:
Generate 'Invalid Measurement' for current value if timestamp of current and last measure value are equal
Defines whether the measurement data shall be replaced with the 'Invalid Measurement' value (represented as 0xFFF0000000000000) if there are no new measurement values available in a new sample (i.e. timestamp unchanged).
Send error event if one of the following is true:
This option allows to generate error events if data is missing. Depending on the nature of the used raster for a collector, one of the following options is relevant:
Equidistant rasters: Delta of current and last timestamp > n times raster size
Defines for time synchronous rasters that the event is generated if more than n samples are missing (i.e. a period of more than n times raster update rate in ms is between two consecutive timestamps).
Event synchronous rasters: (and Monitoring)
Delta of current and last timestamp > n msDefines for event synchronous rasters (e.g. crankshaft synchronous or monitoring) that an error event is generated if there is a delta of n ms between two timestamps.
Time stamp in Result line:
Specifies the format of the timestamp within the returned measurement data.
VARIANT with VT_I4 in ms | The timestamp is provided within a VARIANT of type VT_I4 and has a unit of ms. |
INCA RCI2-format (double in s) | The timestamp is provided as a double and is in INCA RCI2-format (seconds). |
Merge Monitoring frames:
Merge in Blocks of n ms
Specifies that all samples of collectors for monitoring devices that occur within an ms timeframe are merged into one sample, thus reducing bandwidth to the testbed system.
If data changes within one merged block, report error and inform client about lost data.
Defines that in case of data loss due to merging of monitoring frames, an error event shall be sent to the testbed.
INCA Variables:
Force deletion of INCA variables while LogicalLink is online
Defines that INCA variables will be deleted also from the INCA view when they are removed from a collector.
