Options: Measurement Tab (ASAM-MCD 3MC V1.0)
To go to this tab, click the Options
toolbar button and select the Measurement tab.
You can make the following settings for the measurement:
MCDCollector default values:
These settings define the default values for a newly created collector. They can be changed by the testbed afterwards.
Storage type
Defines where the collector saves recorded measure values:
MCDStorageAusy
Defines that recorded measure values are passed to the testbed.
Number of samples
Specifies the number of measure values to be collected in the buffer before the collector sends a message to the testbed.
This setting is taken into account only if the testbed uses event based online measurement.
MCDStorageFile
Defines that the recorded measure values are saved by INCA to a file.
File name:
BrowseOpens a dialog box in which you can specify a file for saving recorded measure values.
Start delay
Specifies the delay with which the collector is started. A negative value indicates a time period prior to the start of the collector and a positive value indicates a time period after the start of the collector.
Stop delay
Specifies the delay with which the collector is stopped. A positive value indicates a time period after the stop of the collector.
Only positive values are allowed by INCA.
Online data for StorageFile collectors
Defines that the recorded measure values are saved by INCA to a file and also passed to the testbed.
MCDBuffer default values:
These settings define the default values for the buffer of a newly created collector. They can be changed by the testbed afterwards.
Down sampling
Defines whether all measure values are written to the buffer or whether their total number can be reduced by a factor by which the corresponding number of values can be skipped. Factor 1 collects all measure values, factor 2 collects every second value, etc.
Rate
Specifies the speed of measure value recording in the buffer.
Size
Specifies the buffer size in number of result lines (one result line per measurement sample – all variables).
Time stamping
Defines whether an additional channel ("TimeStamp") is automatically to be recorded with the timestamps of the measurement (in ms) during measurements.
INCA:
Show measured values
Defines whether the measure variables sent to the testbed computer are to be displayed for checking in the INCA measure window.
Show recorded values
Defines whether the measure values recorded in INCA that are transferred to the testbed computer are to be displayed for checking in the measure window of the experiment environment.
Limit number of variables/online window to
Defines whether the number of measure variables per measure window is to be restricted, and specifies the maximum number.
If this option is enabled, a new measure window is automatically created when the maximum number is exceeded.
Storage :
Save recorder files additionally in the following format
Defines whether the recording files are to be created in another format in addition to the MDF format and specifies the additional format.
Extended
Opens the Extended Measurement Settings dialog box where you make further settings.
