Creating, Duplicating, and Deleting Elements

To create a new element in the Items list:

  1. Activate the appropriate filter for the element type.
  2. In the Item menu, select New.

    The select the type for the new item dialog box opens.

  3. Select an element type from the Select an item list.
  4. Click OK.

    The new element is created and marked in the Items list.

  5. In the Base data tab, enter a name for the element in the Element name field.

To duplicate an element in the Items list:

  1. Activate the appropriate filter for the element type or the All Named filter.
  2. In the Items list, activate the element you want to duplicate.
  3. In the Item menu, select Copy.

    The new element is created and marked in the Items list.

  4. In the Base data tab, enter a name for the element in the Element name field.

To delete an element from the Items list:

  1. Activate the appropriate filter for the element type or the All Named filter.
  2. In the Items list, activate the element you want to delete.
  3. In the Item menu, select Delete.

    The element is deleted and removed from the Items list.
