INCA-Bus-Logging Add-On

You can install the INCA-Bus-Logging Add-On as an alternative to the ETAS CAN-Trace engineering AddOn .

First Features

CAN /CAN FD Tracing

• Time-synchronous recording of signals and frames into the same MDF 4.x file

• Assignment of statistic signals, for example CANBusload, to a recorder with implicit addition of CAN_DataFrame and CAN_ErrorFrame

  

Converter

The INCA-Bus-Logging Add-On additionally includes a converter that reads MDF files and writes CAN traces into an ASC file.

Ethernet Tracing

• Time-synchronous recording of signals and frames into the same MDF 4.x file

• New ETH-Log device in HWC below NIC and ES886
  Further Ethernet devices will be supported later

  

• INCA writes Ethernet traces in parallel to other measurement data in MDF

• Use case: FrameCounter signal needs to be configured for a recorder to activate Ethernet bus logging to MDF
