Parameters for ETH-Log
The following shows the parameters for ETH-Log:
Enter any name for the ETH-log module
You can choose one of the following options:
Retry always
Abort after failure
Abort at start, retry later
Integer value, starts with one for the first ETH-Log device in the hardware configuration.
The value is used for logging of events from the respective bus.
The value increases by one for each additionally added ETH-Log device.
If an ETH-Log device is deleted, the other ETH-Log devices are renumbered.
You can also swap values between devices.
Optionally, filters can be assigned to ETH-Log devices and stored as data base element with a new filter element type.
To apply a capture filter
Click into the value cell.
A context window opens.
In the context window, click on Add.
The Ethernet Capture Filter Editor opens.
Edit your filter expression and click Apply.
The Capture Filter Editor supports syntax validation. The filter definition follows the Berkeley Packet Filter syntax.
