Rename signals

Use the Rename signals operation to change the names of selected existing signals. The operation is intended for direct renaming rather than creating an additional signal with a normalized name.

Signals and new names are matched by their position in the two inputs. The first selected signal uses the first line in the target-name input, the second selected signal uses the second line, and so on.

1. After adding the Rename signals operation, select the signals to rename from the Signals to rename drop-down list or enter the signal names directly. The selection order defines how the new names are assigned.

2. In the target-name input, enter one new signal name per line in the same order as the selected signals.
