Change comments

Measurement file comments can contain information about a recording, such as the test campaign or driver. Use the Change comment operation to add information to an existing comment or replace it with new text. This makes it possible to update comments consistently across multiple measurement files.

Note
The Change comment operation converts measurement files that are not in MF4 format to MF4. This is required because measurement file comments can only be set for MF4 files.

1. After adding the Change comment operation, enter the text to add or use as a replacement in the Comment text field.

   Leave the field empty with Replace existing comment to remove the existing comment.

2. In the Change mode drop-down list, select how the new text is applied:

   • Insert before existing comment: Adds the new text before the existing comment.

   • Replace existing comment: Replaces the existing comment with the new text.

   • Insert after existing comment: Adds the new text after the existing comment.
