Fill signal loss

Detects signal loss by looking for unusually large time gaps between consecutive samples and inserts one marker sample into each detected gap.

Signals

Select the signals to check for signal loss. Autocomplete lists signals as label and, where available, label\device. If the same label exists on multiple devices, select the entry for the required device. Leave the field empty to check all signals.

Time to detect signal loss

Define the duration after which a time gap between consecutive samples is considered signal loss. To select the unit, use the drop-down list.

Leave the field empty to calculate the threshold separately for each signal as the mean time between samples plus two times the standard deviation of the time between samples.

Target signal loss value

Define the numeric value written to the sample that is inserted when signal loss is detected. Leave the field empty to use NaN.
