Align measurements by reference signals
Aligns measurement files that record the same event on different time bases. The measurement file that was added first in the Sources step is used as the reference. The operation determines the time offset from corresponding signal curves and shifts each subsequent measurement file accordingly. The calculated shift is applied to all signals in the file.
Reference signals
Select one or more signals whose curves can be compared across the measurement files. The signals can have different names. For each measurement file, Data Operator uses the first selected signal that is available in that file. Autocomplete lists signals as label and, where available, label\device. If the same label exists on multiple devices, select the entry for the required device.
Each measurement file must contain at least one of the selected reference signals.
Sample time
Defines the interval used to resample the reference signals when calculating the time offset. Smaller sample times can provide more accurate alignment but require more computation time.
