Settings (Global Optimization)
Optimization menu > Global Optimization > Settings
The Settings window for global optimization contains the following elements:
Number of Iterations
The number of optimization steps. If the optimizer should converge before reaching the defined number, it stops earlier.
Number of Starts (Multi Start)
The number of optimization runs. To ensure that a global minimum is found, the optimizer should be started multiple times using different start values.

Default
Sets all parameters to their default values.
OK
Applies your settings and closes the window.
Apply
Applies your settings, but does not close the window.
Cancel
Discards your settings and closes the window.
