Using an ASCET, FMU or Simulink Model

After mapping parameters, inputs, and outputs, proceed as follows to verify and use the ASCET, FMU or Simulink model:

In the model list of the Models pane, select the ASCET/FMU/Simulink project you want to use.

The lower part of the Models pane shows the ASCET Model, FMU Model or Simulink Model variant.
Click on Validate All.

A message window opens. It shows the results of the validation.
If necessary, correct invalid mappings.
In the navigation, click on Function.

The Function pane opens.
Add a new node or edit an existing node.

The ASCET/FMU/Simulink model is available in the "Nodes" area.
Insert the ASCET/FMU/Simulink model in the expression.
Click on OK.
The node is added or changed according to your settings. In addition, a node<ASCET model name>_mdl.<output name>, <FMU model name>_mdl.<output name> or <Simulink model name>_mdl.<output name> is created for each model output.
