The filter affects all data sets and only the views, not the optimization. To ignore data for the optimization, set the data weight to 0. |
Analysis menu > Filter Data
The Global Filter Definition window contains the following elements:
Filter list
Lists all defined filters.
To add a filter, use

To delete a filter, use

To rename a filter, use

To duplicate a filter, use

To set the selected filter as global filter, use
.
Filter
List all filter formulas of the selected filter.
Data points are only displayed if the expression is true for a data point.
To insert a new formula before the selected row, use

To delete the selected formula, use
.
To edit a formula, double-click the row or select the formula and use
. The Add Filter window opens, where you can create a formula using the Data/Parameters/Nodes lists and the calculation buttons.
To validate all formulas and show possible errors, use
.
Edit Mode: To edit formulas directly in the table or to copy and paste expressions, activate the checkbox.
Boolean operator to combine the formulas: All formulas are evaluated and combined with this operator. Available options are AND and OR.

Filter Usage: Shows where the filter is being used.
OK
Applies your settings and closes the window.
Apply
Applies your settings, but does not close the window.
Cancel
Discards your settings and closes the window.
