Viewing All Occurrences of an Element

To view all occurrences of an element or included component, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Outline tab, select the element or included component.

In a block diagram for actions/conditions, you can also select an element/included component in the drawing area.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Open the Extras menu and select Show Occurrences.
    • Right-click the element/included component and select Show Occurrences from the context menu.

In the state diagram, all states and transitions that use the selected element/included component in a state or transition editor (except in comments) are highlighted (see the example).

In a BDE diagram for actions/conditions, all graphical occurrences of the selected element/included component are highlighted.

The Occurrences for window opens. It lists all other diagrams (state diagram, BDE diagram for actions/conditions) that contain the element/included component.

    Note

Occurrences in ESDL diagrams for actions/conditions are not detected by Show Occurrences.
