Edit Menu (State + Transition Editor)

This menu contains the following functions:

The Create ASCET Link menu option is always available. The other menu options are only available if you are entering ESDL code in the condition tab or one of the action tabs.

Cut (<Ctrl> + <x>)

Cuts (deletes) a diagram element.

Copy (<Ctrl> + <c>)

Copies a diagram item.

Paste (<Ctrl> + <v>)

Pastes a diagram item.

Find/Replace (<Ctrl> + <f>)

Opens the window for finding and replacing code

Create ASCET Link

Creates an ASCET link that opens the state machine in the state machine editor, opens the state or transition editor in the selected tab and highlights the selected ESDL code.

If you only placed the cursor in the ESDL code, the cursor position, the ASCET link sets the cursor to that position.

If you did not select a piece of ESDL code, the ASCET link opens only the selected tab.

Select All (<Ctrl> + <a>)

Selects the entire code of the current action.

Load from file

Import/insert action code from a file.

Store to file

Action code is written to an external file.

Prints out the code of the current action.

Printer Setup

Opens the Printer Selection window for printer selection and setup.
