Saving a Software Component

1. Perform one of the following actions in the software component editor.

   • Open the File menu and select Save.
   • In the General toolbar, click the Save button.

   The component is thus saved in a cache.

   Note
   This command does not save the component permanently in the database/workspace.

2. To make the changes permanent, go to the Component Manager and do one of the following.

   • Open the File menu and select Save.
   • Click the Save button in the Component Manager.

   The Save command in the Component Manager stores all the changes you have made in the database/workspace.
