Editing Included Components

1. In the Outline tab, or in the drawing area of an SWC specified as block diagram, select the component you want to edit.

2. Do one of the following:

   • In the Edit menu, select Open Component.

   • Select Open Component from the context menu of the component.

   • Double-click the included component.

   An editor opens for the selected component.

3. Edit the included component according to your needs.

4. To return to the parent SWC, do one of the following in the editor of the included component:

   • Click the Browse to Parent Component button.

   • If the included component is a block diagram, double-click in the drawing area.

   If the included component contains unsaved changes, you are asked if you want to save the changes.

5. Click Yes (No) to return to the parent component and save (discard) your changes.

   The editor window for the included component remains open.
