Creating a New Diagram

1. Go to the Outline tab.

2. Do one of the following:

   • In the Insert menu, point to Diagram and select Public or Private.
   • In the context menu, point to Add Diagram and select Public or Private.

   A new public or private diagram is added in the Outline tab. The name of the new diagram is selected automatically.

3. Type in a name and press <Enter>.

   You can also rename the diagram later via Rename in the context menu of the respective diagram or pressing <F2>.

4. Add the runnables and methods necessary to specify the functionality of the diagram.

In the software component editor, you work on one diagram at a time. If a software component contains more than one diagram, you can switch between diagrams by loading another diagram into the drawing area.
