Changing the Appearance of Input and Output Pins

This topic applies only to SWCs specified as block diagrams.

Right-click an input or output pin of the hierarchy/statement block element.
Do one of the following:
- Select Rename Pin from the context menu to change the name of the pin.
- Select Pin Name to hide the pin name.
  Select the command again to reveal the pin name.
- Select Remove Pin to remove the input or output pin.
Right-click the block and select Show Pin Names or Hide Pin Names to show or hide all the pin names for the hierarchy/statement block.

When you connect a diagram element to a pin, and then connect the pin to another item inside the hierarchy/statement block, it is equivalent to connecting the two elements directly.
