ARXML Configuration Settings Window

This dialog window is opened with the Edit button of the AUTOSAR XML Configuration option in the Project Properties window, OS Configuration node.

The ARXML Configuration Settings window contains the following components:

• File menu

  • Import

    Imports the options for the selected node from an XML file.

  • Export

    Exports the options of the selected node and its subnodes to an XML file.

• View menu

  • Expand All

    The tree view is expanded as far as possible.

  • Collapse All

    The tree view is collapsed as far as possible.

  • Show/Hide Description

    Shows/hides the description of the options.

  • Create ASCET Link

    Not available in theARXML Configuration Settings window.

• At the top left, a filter for the options.

• On the left, a tree view with the ARXML configuration settings grouped into the following nodes.

  • Filename Templates

    • Predefined Filenames
  • Miscellaneous

  • Package Templates

    • Predefined Packages

  • Short Name Templates

    • Miscellaneous
    • Types

  For the meaning of the options, refer to the descriptions in the ARXML Configuration Settings window. Only the options in the Miscellaneous node are described in the online help.

• On the right, a field that displays the options of the node selected in the tree view.
• At the bottom right, a field with short descriptions of the options displayed in the upper field.

System Defaults

Restores the default ARXML configuration settings.
