View Menu

This menu contains the following functions:

Show/Hide

Shows/hides several parts of the editor or the component.

Tree Pane	Shows/hides the Tree Pane .
Search Results	Browse area for unused elements (see Searching/Deleting Unused Elements) or – in the block diagram editor for software components – for elements connected to a selected diagram element (see Viewing All Elements Connected to an Item).
Comment	Shows/hides the Comment pane in the Database / Workspace tab of the Tree Pane .
Toolbars	The General, Elements and – for block diagrams – Basic Blocks menu options show/hide the respective toolbars.
Palettes	The Elements, Block Library and – for block diagrams – Basic Blocks menu options show/hide the respective palettes.

Configure

Toolbar General	Select the buttons to be visible in the General toolbar (see Configuring a Toolbar).
Toolbar Elements	Select the buttons to be visible in the Elements toolbar.
Toolbar Basic Blocks	Select the buttons to be visible in the Basic Blocks toolbar. Only available in the block diagram editor for software components.
Reset Toolbar Configuration	Reset toolbar to default configuration.

Sequence Calls

Note
Only available in the block diagram editor for software components.

Show / Hide

Shows/hides groups of sequence calls.

Next (<Ctrl> + <right>)

Moves between sequence calls (next call).

Previous (<Ctrl> + <left>)

Moves between sequence calls (previous call)

Page Layout

Note
Only available in the block diagram editor for software components.

Portrait

Displays the diagram in portrait format.

Landscape

Displays the diagram in landscape format.

Grid

Note
Only available in the block diagram editor for software components.

Opens the ASCET Options window in the Gridnode. In that node, you can modify the grid in the drawing area.
