Renaming or Deleting Events

In the software component editor, open the Event Specification view.
In the Events field, select the event.
To rename the element, do one of the following:
- In the context menu of the event, select Rename Event.
- In the Event menu, select Rename Event.
- Press <F2>.
Note
Event names must not begin with a number. If you enter a name that begins with a number, an allowed name is suggested instead.
To delete the event, do one of the following:
- In the context menu of the event, select Delete Event.
- In the Event menu, select Delete Event.
- Press <Delete>.
