Converting Diagram Elements into a Statement Block

Note

This topic applies only to SWCs specified as block diagrams.

  1. Select the diagram elements you want to put in a statement block.
  2. In the Basic Blocks palette or toolbar, click the Statement Block button.

The selected diagram elements are placed inside a newly created statement block. Existing sequence calls are converted to block-local sequence calls. A pin with a default name is created for each line that connects a diagram element outside the statement block with a diagram element inside.

Note

It is not possible to move diagram elements into a statement block directly, e.g. by drag-and-drop. They always have to be copied via the clipboard or moved as described here.
