Implementing a Record Element

This instruction applies to normal implementations. Editing element implementations in a mixed physical implementation is described in Specifying a Mixed Physical Implementation, step 3.

To edit the implementation of a scalar element, array or matrix in a record, proceed as follows.

In the Outline tab of the record editor, select the element.
Do one of the following:
- From the Edit menu or the context menu, select Implementation.
- Press <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <i>.
The implementation editor for the selected element opens.
Specify the implementation, e.g. as described in Specifying Individual Implementations.
Close the implementation editor with OK.
