Formula Editor for Dependent Parameters

This window is used to define the element dependency as a formula (C syntax). It contains the following elements.

• Formula field

  In this field, the formula for the dependent parameter is specified.

  • context menu

    Cut	Cuts the selected text out of the Formula field.
    Copy	Copies text from the Formula field into the clipboard.
    Paste	Inserts text from the clipboard into the Formula field.
    Select All	Selects the entire content of the Formula field.
    Find/Replace	Finds/replaces text in the Formula field.

• Operator combo box

  This combo box offers the available operators for selection.

• Function combo box

  This combo box offers the available mathematical functions for selection.

• position indicator

  Shows the cursor position in the Formula field.

• ASAM-2MC field

  This field shows the syntax used in ASAM-MCD-2MC to represent the formula of the dependent parameter formula. The index (1..n) corresponds to the position in the list of formula parameters; see the example.
