Renaming a Component Instance

1. In the Outline tab of the project editor, select the module you want to rename.

2. Do one of the following:

   • In the Edit menu, select Rename.
   • Select Rename from the context menu.
   • Press <F2>.

3. Enter the new name and press <Return>.

   Note
   Names of component instances must not begin with a number. If you enter a name that begins with a number, an allowed name is suggested instead.
