Activating External Code Storage

By default, the generated code is stored in the ASCET database. Proceed as follows to activate external code storage.

1. In the Component Manager or a component editor, open the Tools menu and select Options.

   The ASCET options window opens.

2. Go to the Build node.
3. Activate the Activate external code storage option.
4. Close the ASCET options window with OK.
5. Set a path for external code storage.
