Implementing a Record Instance

This instruction applies to normal implementations. Editing the implementation of a record instance in a mixed physical implementation is described in Specifying a Mixed Physical Implementation, step 4.

To edit the implementation of a record instance in a record, proceed as follows.

In the Outline tab of the record editor, select the record instance.
Do one of the following:
- From the Edit menu or the context menu, select Implementation.
- Press <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <i>.
The implementation editor for referenced components, i.e. the Impl Ref. Editor window, opens.
In the Implementation of Instance combo box, select the record implementation you want to use for the current record instance.
In the Memory Location of Instance combo box, select the memory class for the current record instance.
Close the Impl Ref. Editor window with OK.
