Selecting an Implementation

To select an implementation, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the implementation editor for a component.
  2. In the Implementation pane, select the implementation you want to edit.

The formulas for the selected implementation are displayed in the Elements pane. As long as the implementation editor is open, the symbol remains at the implementation that was selected when you opened the implementation editor.

You can open the implementation editor for an element or included component by double-clicking on an entry in the Elements table.

The selection is valid until you select another implementation, or until you close the component editor.

All the operations available for data sets are also available for implementations and work as described in Data Sets. You can specify implementations for local and global elements, as well as implementation casts, by selecting the corresponding tab of the implementation editor.

You can

Create or copy an implementation

Select a default implementation

Adjust the implementation ettings

Implement scalar, array or matrix elements

Implement method-/process-/runnable-local variables

Implement characteristic lines/maps

Specify the implementation for a logical or enumeration element

Specify rescalable implementations
